This became a bigger project, extending our patio and building a path to the greenhouse. Jason was a very prompt communicator, speedy with the competitive quote and he got on the case very efficiently. The chaps that work for him are a delight to be around, very jolly and neat and tidy workers. We're over the moon with the final result, it looks wonderful. All with a 12 year guarantee too. They won't let you down.Posted on GoogleJason Conroy969 days agoI genuinely cannot thank and recommend Jason & team enough. An extremely efficient company to deal with. From the initial quote and throughout the whole installation of the driveway I was kept informed and all promises for when they would arrive and finish were exactly as told. Indian Sandstone Patios in Grantham
At Affordable Driveways & Patios Ltd we install Indian sandstone paving in Grantham for gardens of every size. That might mean replacing tired concrete slabs behind a period townhouse or starting from scratch on a new-build plot. Warm, honey-toned sandstone picks up the local stone seen across the town's older streets, while cooler greys suit modern homes. Many gardens here sit on heavy clay, so the groundwork gets as much attention as the finish. We dig out fully, install a deep compacted sub-base and build in falls and drainage. That keeps your patio level and helps it dry quickly after rain.
Indian Sandstone Slabs and Colours in Grantham
Our natural stone range includes:
- Raj Green Sandstone
- Kandla Grey Sandstone
- Buff & Autumn Brown Sandstone
- Riven & Sawn Finishes
- Patio Circles
- Sandstone Steps & Edging
Slabs come in single sizes or mixed packs. That means we can lay a traditional random pattern, a neat linear layout, or a circle feature as the centrepiece of your garden.
Grantham NG31 Indian Sandstone Finishes
Indian sandstone paving in Grantham NG31 gives a patio a character that concrete can't match. Each slab varies slightly in shade and veining, so the finished surface looks rich and individual rather than uniform. Riven sandstone offers good grip underfoot, and the stone is tough enough for years of foot traffic and frost. Once the joints have cured, we can seal the stone to help prevent moss, algae and staining. If you'd like the look to continue out front, we also lay sandstone driveways using thicker slabs on a reinforced base.
Why choose a Sandstone Driveway in Grantham?
There is a huge range of materials available for driveways and garden paving and one of the most popular choices is sandstone. There are several reasons for this including:
- Aesthetics – Sandstone comes in a huge variety of natural colours and textures and provides a distinctive look which is unmatched by manufactured products such as concrete and brick. Sandstone also looks stunning when wet as the colours really show through.
- Durability – Being a natural stone, sandstone is long-lasting and tough. Colours won’t fade due to UV rays, unlike some man-made options, and will last for many years.
- Adds Value – Natural stone paving can enhance the appearance and value of your property.
- Strong & Durable – Sandstone is a hard wearing material ideal for patios, driveways and high traffic areas.
- Slip Resistant – The textured surface provides excellent grip, making it suitable for patios, paths and pool areas.
